Hip Hop Symposium 2026 invites researchers, artists, and practitioners to rethink hip hop as an interdisciplinary space for knowledge, creativity, and community. From sound and movement to image and language, hip hop culture constantly moves between artistic practice and critical reflection, personal experience and collective memory.
The symposium creates a space for discussion on how hip hop research and practice can generate new ways of knowing, new methods, and new languages. It explores topics including hip hop dance, music, education, cultural heritage, creative technologies, and artistic research.
